Privacy Policy

PolyModal / Genevieve is currently a private, personal-use system. It is operated for its owner and is not offered as a public consumer service.

Google account authorization

Access to Google account data occurs only after the account owner explicitly authorizes the requested permissions through Google’s consent process. The system uses that access only to perform owner-authorized functions.

How Google data is used

• Google Calendar: Calendar information may be read to check availability and list events. Events may be created, updated, or deleted when the owner requests those actions.
• Gmail: Where configured, Gmail access is limited to searching messages, reading selected messages, and creating drafts for the owner to review. The current production system does not provide a Gmail send operation.
• Google Drive: Drive access is used for the owner’s encrypted backup workflow, including storing and verifying encrypted backup repository data.

Use, sharing, and advertising

Google data is used only to perform the functions the owner has authorized. It is not sold, used for advertising, or shared with unrelated third parties. Data may be processed by infrastructure and service providers only as necessary to operate the authorized workflows.

Storage and retention

Calendar and Gmail data may be processed when fulfilling an authorized request. The system does not use that data to build an advertising profile or commercial user-data product. Encrypted backup objects remain in the owner’s Google Drive according to the owner’s backup and retention procedures. Operational records are retained only as needed to run, audit, troubleshoot, and protect the private system.

Revoking access

The owner can revoke the application’s Google access at any time from the Google Account connections page. Revocation may stop Calendar, Gmail, or Drive workflows that depend on that authorization.

Google API Services User Data Policy

PolyModal / Genevieve’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
